What Is Profhilo?
Profhilo is non-cross linked Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a bio revitaliser and skin booster treatment used to target skin laxity. It is an ultrapure medical-grade hyaluronic acid, produced through a patented bio-fermentation process that ranks worldwide as “top-quality” in terms of purity and safety.

The formulation of HA with different molecular weights contained in Profhilo is based on the concept of Hydrolift Action. This innovative approach is aimed at counteracting the reduction of HA in the skin, restoring elasticity, skin tone, and deep hydration with the mechanical action of smoothing the skin.
It is intended for tissue remodelling, and improvement in skin laxity in the face, neck, and body. It is a temporary treatment, and the Hyaluronic acid is completely broken down within the skin leaving no trace.
Please avoid St John’s Wort, alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofen at least 24 hours before and after your appointment.
Profhilo can be used across the body to stimulate a tightening, smoothing and firming effect.

Profhilo is an injectable treatment delivered by ultra-fine needles, using our gentle injection techniques. We can administer a topical numbing agent to desensitise the skin, and promote comfort, during your treatment.

A course of Profhilo involves two injectable treatments spaced four weeks apart. You can expect to see gradual intense hydration, improvement in lines, and tightness of your skin. After eight weeks is when you will see the most improvement with lifting and tightening of the skin – it is more hydrated and appears more youthful and in better health. Some patients have reported an immediate improvement after treatment. Overall, you can expect increased firmness, elasticity, and overall improved quality of the skin, with the effects lasting up to six months or longer.

Profhilo helps to improve the quality and structure of the skin, creating a tightening effect and reduction of fine wrinkles. Dermal fillers are recommended for augmentation due to their high viscosity and strong volumising properties.

Profhilo requires two separate treatments, spaced four weeks apart. Because of its rejuvenating effect, you’ll need to wait around 8 weeks to see the full results of treatment, it’s possible you’ll see some results after just a few weeks. Effects can then last up to 6 months or longer.
