What Is RF Microneedling Treatment?
RF microneedling uses a gold-plated needle device which gently penetrates the skin to deliver radiofrequency deep into the dermal layers of the skin. The radiofrequency heats at depths that provide cumulative and ongoing benefits of collagen stimulation, skin tightening and resurfacing.
The addition of radiofrequency energy to the microneedling procedure helps to stimulate long-term collagen production and healing processes revealing firmer, rejuvenated skin.

Microneedles create tiny channels in the skin, which are further penetrated by radiofrequency waves. Together, this stimulates collagen and elastin production – key proteins that help our skin stay youthful, healthy and encourage the skin to become thicker and smoother than before.
Please avoid St John’s Wort, alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofen at least 24 hours before and after your appointment.

The procedure typically takes around 45 minutes, if needed a topical numbing agent can be applied to prevent discomfort. Results can take 6 weeks to develop, depending on your targeted concerns, and last up to 12 months, or longer when combined with a good routine. You’ll likely need a course of treatments for the best results.

We apply a topical numbing agent to desensitise the skin ahead of the procedure, which can help to reduce the sensations of the treatment. However, the needles used in our RF microneedling device are extremely fine and the techniques we use aim to keep you as comfortable as possible.
